Winter Festival

Every year the Winter Festival Parade links the twin river towns of Lambertville and New Hope with a fantastic display of music, creativity, and talent. Come see Mummers bands, marching bands, creative floats, dancers, jugglers, and community groups all contributing to the festive atmosphere! You can view the parade on the bridge or anywhere along Bridge St. in Lambertville or New Hope.

Annual Chili Cook-Off

Come in from the cold for our spicy hot competition, featuring some of the tastiest, tangiest and most original chili created by our finest local restaurants and accompanied by local beers.

Washington's Birthday Celebration

Washington Crossing State Park, PA

During the day, various children’s activities will be offered in the park buildings and visitor center. Children are encouraged to bring homemade birthday cards to present to General Washington. At 1 PM, visitors will sing Happy Birthday to George and enjoy cake that he will cut with his sword.

New Hope Automobile Show

The New Hope Automobile Show has become a showplace for the magnificent antique and classic automobiles that compete. This year the show is limited to just 250 vehicles per day. Reenactment of Washington's Crossing

Washington Crossing State Park, PA

Hundreds of reenactors clad in Continental military dress will row across the Delaware River in three replica Durham boats. The event is a dress rehearsal for the annual Christmas Day reenactment of George Washington’s heroic 1776 crossing of the Delaware, which is widely considered a turning point in the American Revolution. During the dress rehearsal, troops will row across the river in uniform just as they do on Christmas, plus additional activities and demonstrations will take place throughout the historic village.
